PreforPro® is a blend of four bacteriophage strains: LH01 (Myoviridae), LL5 (Siphoviridae), T4D (Myoviridae) and LL12 (Myoviridae).
What each ingredient is
DGL — licorice root extract with the glycyrrhizin removed, the compound in ordinary licorice associated with blood pressure effects, here a 3:1 extract
Tributyrin — a triglyceride form of butyric acid, a short-chain fatty acid, standardised here as NewBiome™
PepZinGI® — a trademarked zinc L-carnosine chelate developed in Japan
AstraGin® — a trademarked blend of astragalus and panax notoginseng extracts
PreforPro® — a trademarked blend of four bacteriophage strains, which are viruses that target specific bacteria rather than human cells
How to use it
Take 2 capsules, two to three times daily.
Zinc can cause nausea on an empty stomach, so taking it around food is worth doing.
One bottle (120 capsules) covers 20–30 days depending on how many servings a day you take.

How does this compare to LVLUP's Zinc Carnosine?
Both use zinc L-carnosine and DGL. Leviathan's uses more DGL and adds tributyrin and a bacteriophage blend; LVLUP's adds mastic gum. Different formulas at different doses — come in and we'll talk you through which fits.
What are bacteriophages?
Viruses that target specific bacteria, not human cells. PreforPro® is a trademarked four-strain blend used in gut formulas.
